Extremely dirty Positive: Clear instructions were sent right before check in. Negative: Offsite location

Positive: Location was excellent. Close to Boulevard and cafes Negative: Couch was very uncomfortable. The only app that worked was Stan and YouTube. Fan in bathroom only worked for a minute or 2.

Negative: WiFi is very average and the beds not so comfortable.

***** Please read before booking ***** Positive: The view was amazing & the location was great Negative: There were a few things that were not good. The apartment was quite damaged. Half-painted walls from being patched, shattered lamp in the bottom of the wardrobe, scuff marks on all walls, dirty damaged laminate flooring in the kitchen & generally poorly cleaned. I raised this with the owner after my stay, to which he did not bother to reply. I paid for the property prior to staying there, then received a message stating that in order to receive check-in instructions, I need to provide a copy of my licence, a selfie of myself, my particulars & then a $500 “damage holding deposit”, or if not the $500 deposit, a $37 “damage waiver payment” - which I found ridiculous considering Booking.com already had all of my details & would sort out any issues through there. There was no option to not provide those details & I had no choice but to pay it as it was too late to look for somewhere else. I was really looking forward to this stay with my fiancé & two friends, however once we arrived, it was very disappointing. If it wasn’t for the view & the location, the trip would’ve been ruined. The owner mentioned on the day of check-in that they have had some people stay there who have held parties & caused damage, however unfortunately that is not my issue & the property should not have been rented out in that state.

Positive: Breath taking views!! Great location.
